Tuesday...sorry no post yesterday!

Today we started the morning with some math work on the relationship of pi to the diameter and circumference of a circle. Notes were taken and we have a poster in the class to help us to remember the relationship. We watched 2 short videos and I will post them below. Students were given a piece of string and a ruler and they investigated the relationship between diameter and circumferences of circles. Homework for math is p. 14&15 #3-13, 15 & 16 ** It will be checked tomorrow for a mark for measurement so make sure you have it done.

After math we took up the Science investigation we did last week, discussed how we would go about answering the questions, and took notes. The notes will be posted below and may be used for your reference. If you have any questions or concerns I am here to help you. Soft due date for Science is this Friday February 3rd, 2011, hard due date is this Monday February 6th, 2011.

The rest of the afternoon was dedicated to getting the Coordinate Plane unit test done. Some people just have to do a few finishing touches but it went really well otherwise.

Infographic update. Some of tomorrow's computer lab time will be given for getting your research done for your infographic health project. We extended the due date from this Wednesday, to this Friday. Please use your time wisely. We also bumped a bit of Science time on Day 4(this Thursday) so that students could use this time to prep their pictures.
