Today started with a productive Tech period in the library. Students were given the opportunity to get their research for their infographics today, so that they can work on them tomorrow. People caught up on their work for me, edited final drafts and printed up missing assignments.
After recess I handed back the work, students were given the opportunity to get their tests from yesterday and put the finishing touches on their final images. We also used this period to work on yearbook stuff for the yearbook committee and some first drafts of lists were started for the grad section. Students also got their forms for graduation photos. The date is set for February 29th...and students must dress in white dress shirts (dark ties for boys) with dark bottoms. I will post more info closer to the date, however you must order the composite (class picture with everyone's photo on it) at the sitting and it costs $30.
Before French lab reports and investigative questions were handed back to the students to look at their descriptive feedback and marks. Students handed back their work so we can post the samples in the class because this last batch of labs were mostly exemplary! I also gave the students back their History group work results as well as their oral presentation marks and many students did a great job.
French work was completed in the activity books and final products are being collected. Mr. Ndikumana has been working with the students on their vocabulary and there is an assignment about a bicycle...but that's all I know for now.
In the last 2 periods we went over the concept surrounding Circumference, diameter, radius and pi. We reviewed the ideas surrounding the relationships between them all and how to use the formulas. C=pi x diameter OR C=2 x pi x radius Math work is p.19 #4-6 and p.20 #7-14, please don't do #12 as it is the chapter question.
Sorry for the late post but we were at an open house for a school we are interested in for Lucy. Have a good day tomorrow.

Enjoy this little film, it's Canadian and made here in Toronto by the people who own the store. Night.
