Tuesday = Tech Day

Evening everyone! Today was a tech day so the day started out with research for the art project and a work period for students to type up their SOTM. I hope this period was used properly...we'll see Thursday.

We began the morning with a lecture on the different types of documentaries. Many students offered up their opinions and we had a great discussion. We will have a bit of a break from this tomorrow because of the career fair. Any missed notes can be found below. A journal reflection was assigned and students were given 20 minutes in class to get a head start.

After lunch we talked about the Career Fair tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing what the Fair has to offer you. Thanks to W.B. for convincing his dad to come tomorrow.

At the end of the day we did a hands on activity with the geometry we started yesterday. It went well. Many students worked in pairs and got the work done fast.

JUST A REMINDER:
1. If you haven't gotten your trip form in, we are on the trip tomorrow...so...too bad so sad.

5. Food Drive...the school is looking for donations...bring in canned goods. There is a desperate need in our community, so anything helps.

See you tomorrow. As it is Mother's Day this weekend, I thought I'd share my favourite picture with me and Lucy. This is just before I went downstairs to marry my husband. It was a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.
