Happy Saturday!

Today, is a beautiful day!  Everything we look forward to in Spring; sun, flowers, mild breeze and somewhat dry grass.  Perfect to wander the streets and parks and get some fresh air.  This week has flown by and we have covered quite a bit with our own Documentary Film Festival at school.

First of all:
On Friday we watched the film "Real Injun" and realized that what we know and understand about First Nations people has been largely influenced by the stereotypes portrayed in the media.  A great deal of the images and personalities of Native Peoples that we have seen have been wrong.  You will find a trailer of the movie below.
