Wow! What a day! There was a lot of purple in the class today and I was happy to see you all trying to help each other out by sharing out your purple clothing, cosmetics and accessories. Special thanks to Renis and Nicole for bringing in extra clothing for other people to wear and to Samara for giving impromptu manicures to both boys and girls in the class. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the pizza party and I hope that we won!
Today was an intro to Number Sense and Numeration. We all have completed Chapter 7, on a previous day at the beginning of the year and we started to work on Expanded Form & Powers which most of you finished in class. We'll get into some more challenging stuff tomorrow.
We will take some time for Science tomorrow, please bring in your water bottles to work in your groups so we can explore the concept of viscosity a little more.
If you haven't handed in your AWESOME rough draft for me to look over, you need to get it in to me ASAP! I would love to have our book ready to publish by week's end.
Alright, I've got to run off and make myself some dinner! See you tomorrow, purple monsters!
